Urgent Warning!: Charles “Chuck” Wynne Released on Bond, Public Urged to Report Any Contracting Activity
BLACKWELL, OKLAHOMA (TFINews24.org) — Charles “Chuck” Wynne, the Newkirk contractor at the center of multiple fraud allegations, was released on bond on August 21, 2024. Wynne is currently under strict court orders that prohibit him from engaging in any construction contracting work independently. However, he is permitted to work under the employment of another individual or company. Given the severity of the charges against him, it is crucial that the community remains vigilant and reports any suspicious activity or contracting work linked to Wynne.
Wynne’s Upcoming Court Appearance and Financial Concerns
Wynne is scheduled to return to court in November 2024. He is suspected of having stashed between $50,000 and $100,000 in cash, that he stole from clients to fund his legal defense and post bail. There is growing concern that Wynne might be laundering money and assets, potentially with the assistance of an individual or through a trust or family members.
Despite the gravity of these suspicions, the Oklahoma State Attorney General’s office has not yet filed additional charges, nor has the bankruptcy court taken action. However, there is a strong belief that the Department of Justice (DOJ) may soon pursue bankruptcy fraud charges against Wynne.
Community Alert!: Report Any Contracting Activity
It is imperative that anyone with knowledge of Wynne’s whereabouts or activities reports this information immediately. Wynne has been seen driving a silver Jeep Renegade, easily distinguishable by its wider-than-stock tires. He may also still be driving his truck.
If you or someone you know has recently contracted with Wynne or if you have information about his current employment, please contact TFINews24 or Detective Watkins at the Kay County Sheriff’s office without delay.
Your vigilance is crucial in ensuring that justice is served and that others are not defrauded. Please share this information widely to help protect our community from further harm.
